When I was 8(2006), I completed the Hamilton Weet-Bix TRYathlon after the painful road that was set. Everything was going to plan on the swim and my transition from the swim to the bike was smooth. On my bike i went ,proud of my achievements so far ,when all of a sudden a little boy with flags on his bike rode up the back of mine and nicked my tyre and I fell off grazing my knee's and my elbow. In pain the nearest helper came to my aid. They found the 4 wheeler motor bike, stuck my undamaged bike on the back and took me back to find my parents who were shocked to see their little girl crying .We found my mum and i got taken down to the St John ambulance to get patched up. I never thought I would finish it but with a bit of persuading from mum I decided to finish the TRYathlon with the run .Passing the finish line with a big smile on my face was the best part. That little accident i can still remember but it never put me off. In 2012 i plan on finishing my 7th TRYathlon in Hamilton.

I participated in the 2011 Manukau weetbix triathlon. It was totally awesome. The day went really smoothly and the encouragement was really cool. It was especially fun seeing Temapara George and the other sports hero's. Definitely coming back next time!
