Benefits of entering a School Group….

  • Kids can share the enjoyment of the Kids TRYathlon while having fun with fellow students and each participant is given a discounted entry price of $35 per participant. To receive this discounted price students need to be registered through their school account by the Weet-Bix School Coordinator. In addition thanks to Sanitarium & ASB there are other great benefits if you enter a school group of 15 or more in the Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon.

How to Enter as a School Group

All you need to do is set up a school account (if you don’t already have one) and then either enter kids as listed below, OR have them enter at home with our great new feature.

  1. Appoint a Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon Co-ordinator to register your school group. Remember that all kids that are registered directly through the school account will be eligible for the discounted entry price of $35.00
  2. Register school details in the schools section. Click here.  You can log in and out of your School Group at any time, but you can only check out once.
  3. Download permission slip from your School Group account to send to parents.
  4. Collect permission slips signed by parent / legal guardian.
  5. Enter each child online in your School Group account (this can be done progressively up to the Schools Group cut off date).
  6. Collect entry fees from participants to be deposited in your schools nominated bank account.
  7. Once you have finalised your group registration, confirm entry online by “checking out” and paying total entry fee listed on the invoice that you will receive automatically via your nominated email address.
  8. 3-5 days prior to the event you will receive your group’s TRYathlete Kits.  (If your group is 15 or more you automatically qualify for this service at no extra charge.  It is an optional additional charge for smaller groups).

We recommend that you keep your account open until the school group close off date. You can continue to register children up until the School registration close off date.

 If your group is finalised before the cut off date then you can “check out” however once you have “checked out” you will not be able to reopen your account to add additional participants. Students who enter from home will not be able to link to your account after you have “checked out”.
Any accounts left open at the cut off date will be automatically “checked out” & an invoice for the students that you have entered will be sent to the Schools Coordinator.

New feature!!

Participants can now register and pay online at home and link to your school account during their registration process.  If they do this then their registration will add to your school group total. Remember that if you have 15 or more participants registered from your school we will courier TRYathlete event kits to you free of charge & you will also be eligible for the other great benefits as part of our school group offer. Note that event kits of children who registered at home & “linked” to their schools account will be sent to the school.

Event Kits

If 15 or more students register from your school as part of your school group (registered either by the School Coordinator or at home & by “linking” to the school account), event kits will be couriered to the school free of charge.
School groups who do not reach the 15 students threshold will have the option of paying $20 to have their event kits delivered to their school or they can choose to pick up their kits from the Admin Tent on event day. This decision will need to be made when they “check out” from their registration.

Payment

Once you have “checked out” you will receive an invoice for the students you have entered as part of your School Group automatically via your nominated eamil address.  Please ensure that the invoice is paid in full by Bank Transfer within 10 days of “checking out”.

Schools Promotion Terms &Conditions

1. This offer is available to school groups registered online prior to each event’s school group registration cut-off date. 2. To be eligible for the draw, 15 or more students from each school must be entered as a school group. 3. Each eligible school group entry must have 15 or more students aged 7-15 years registered. 4. *There is only one $5000 sporting goods prize to be won during the 2013 Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon series. One school group from each event will be drawn at prize giving to go into the final draw for the $5000 sporting goods prize which will take place at ASB Head Office on Monday 15th April 2013. Every school that is drawn out as the “regional finalist” will receive five complimentary entries to the 2014 Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon. 5. There is one $500 sporting goods voucher to be won at each event. 6. The school winning the $500 sporting goods voucher is not required to be at prize giving. The $500 sporting goods voucher winning school will be contacted the week following the event. 7. ***School group photos will be taken after prize giving in front of the Weet-Bix container & will be emailed in high resolution with Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon frame to the school coordinator 2 days after the event.
